The term “bio-identical” refers to the molecular structure of the hormones; they are identical in every way to the hormones produced by our bodies.  These hormones have been synthesised from yam or soy to become either progesterone, estriol, estradiol, estrone, testosterone, DHEA or pregnenolone. These hormones can be compounded into transdermal creams, gels, troches, pessaries or capsules.
