Veterinary Compounding

Having completed additional training in veterinary compounding, our pharmacists are well placed to provide tailor made treatment options to meet the unique needs of pets, exotics and zoo animals.

Just like their owners, animals are all individual and unique. That’s why we love them! They come in all different shapes and sizes and as a result, not all commercially available products are the appropriate strength for your pet. Compounding enables us to formulate a product to the exact dose that your vet has prescribed.

We can also offer a range of animal friendly flavours. Tuna is a favourite for many cats; chicken, beef and liver especially popular with dogs and pina colada flavour is a treat for some birds! Medication can be delivered in many different forms, from a chewable flavoured “treat” to a transdermal applicator stick or a sweet suspension. Dosing your pet doesn’t have to be a struggle.
